Gyromancer
May. 2nd, 2010 04:41 pmSo I like casual games (think Bejeweled).
And I like RPGs (mostly of the Japanese, railroad storyline type).
Apparently there is a game, Gyromancer, by PopCap Games, and Square Enix. Basically Bejeweled with storyline, and RPG elements. Its not exactly a new blend of genres considering the Puzzle Quest series, and other titles. The trailer looks good, but reviews are saying its not that great. I think I'm going to at least try the demo. NGL, I really want these to be good games. I'm in a PuzzleXRPG (PRPG?) dryspell since Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. M&M:CoH is a very fun DS game, though fair warning its much more concentrated on the gameplay than story.
( Gameplay, and Trailer videos under the cut. )
